UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY - SWEDISH MADE - TOP QUALITY

SERIANA is a lovely Swedish-built sloop. This yacht is very sleek with European styling. She sleeps a total of 6 in 3 cabins. SERIANA is an excellent sailing boat and she has very good club racing potential. SERIANA is set up for short-handed sailing. Her traveler and mainsheet are located just forward of the tiller in the cockpit and are easily handled by the helmsman. Her jib is self-tending, which makes this vessel extremely easy to be handled by one or two people. The boat is available for showing in the Dinner Key marina

 Accommodations

SERIANA features 3 separate cabins, including the main cabin. She sleeps 2 people in each cabin. Beginning at the bow there is a very long spacious V-berth. There are shelves above the V-berth for storage and there is a hatch on the foredeck that provides excellent ventilation in this area.

Immediately aft of the V-berth is the head area. This head runs the full beam of the boat and therefore is quite spacious. The toilet and sink are located on the starboard side. Opposite on the portside there is a very large hanging and storage locker. The door from the head to the main cabin is located just to port and forward of the main mast. The main cabin features 2 settee berths and above each there are 2 storage lockers with a bookcase in the middle. The berths in this cabin are quite unique and not something often seen on an American built yacht. They resemble the more custom berths found on a Concordia yawl. In order to open the berth, the backrest cushion for the settee is pulled down and rests on top of the seat cushion. The back rest berth cushion itself is actually folded over upon itself until the time the back rest is pulled down into its sleeping position. The berth therefore extends all the way outboard to the inner side of the hull. This makes for an extremely wide single berth, which is very comfortable for anyone regardless of size. You can leave this berth in the made up position and then simply fold it away. It's out of sight and has enough room so both pillows can also store in this area, which is just below the storage lockers and bookcases.

There is a table located on centerline in the main cabin with two fold down leaves. This table is quite large when in the up position and provides adequate dining space for six people.

The galley is located just aft of the settee on the port side. It features double stainless steel sinks on the forward bulkhead. Immediately aft is the stove with oven and just aft of that is a counter with a refrigerator/ice box space located below. There are storage lockers above and outboard of the stove and sink. It also has additional drawers underneath the two sinks.

The nav station is located on the starboard side immediately aft of the settee. This has a forward facing nav desk with the seat immediately behind it. The electronics are located on the forward bulkhead and outboard to starboard. The main electrical panel is located outboard and above the navigator's seat. Again here, there are several drawers located underneath the navigator's desk and there is storage underneath the navigator's seat. The companionway ladder to the bridgedeck is located between the galley and the nav station. Moving aft of the nav station on the starboard side is another locker and the entrance to the owners aft stateroom. This stateroom consists of 2 single quarter berths, one to port and one to starboard. There are storage drawers located on the centerline between the two quarter berths and there are also shelves above each quarter berth. This aft stateroom area has two opening ports into the well area of the cockpit, which provide additional ventilation. Access to the engine, which is located under the cockpit well, is through a removable panel located between the two quarter berths.

The interior joiner work on SERIANA is all varnished teak. It is all in excellent condition. She has a varnished teak and holly sole with white trim. All the cushions in the main cabin were reupholstered in 2009. They too are all in excellent condition and very tastefully done. There are curtains in the main cabin, which provide privacy over the two main fixed port lights when one is in a marina. The overhead in this cabin is white with fore and aft varnished teak battens. The overhead is removable to provide access to deck hardware.

Going up the companionway to the bridge deck we find that SERIANA has a very long, spacious cockpit that can easily accommodate 6 people. Aft of the cockpit there is a large storage area located under the aft deck. This area is deceivingly large and provides excellent storage for fenders, lines, shore power cables, etc, etc.

Please note that all of the fastenings on this teak deck have been removed. This deck is totally bedded down and there are full depth bungs where the screws use to be.
